The Combination of High Calorie Diet and Moderate Interval Training Decreases Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) Level In Rats

Background: Obesity can cause leptin and insulin resistance which will affect the production of GnRH FSH. One risks factor obesity is high calorie intake chronicaly. Exercise plays a role in regulation blood body weight. However, effect exercise on subjects with high-calorie diet FSH unknown. This study aims to determine moderate intensity interval training (MIIT) level female rats. Method: Sample was 27 rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain were divided into 3 groups. The negative control group (standard diet), positive (high MIIT moderate-intensity intervals). Measurement using ELISA method after treatment for 4 weeks. Result: Statistical analysis showed that there significant difference value (p = 0.001). mean 25.32 mIU/ml ? 7.89 group, 19.71 6.55 12.12 3.64 group. decrease due caused affected GnRH. Conclusion: Moderate decreases may physical stress.
